Royal assistance for drought stricken Thais

HM the King has assigned his Rajaprajanugroh Foundation to set up the water supply centres in 122 schools in 53 provinces to help Thais affected by the drought.

The foundation's statement noted that the monarch was worried people who have been hit by the drought, and therefore ordered the urgent setting up of the centred.

The centres, which were set up yesterday, are situated in the central, northern, northeastern and eastern regions in a total of 53 provinces.

People should prepare containers to get the water at the centres.
